A Spring boho and a Spring or Easter photography set make for a beautiful family session. I love that we captured both updated family photos and adorable Spring photos of their children.
We started the planning for this lovely family’s session once the family had chosen their outfits. Sometimes we chose backdrops first and then the outfits. And other times our clients have found outfits they’d love to use and we work from there. For their pastel coloured clothing my new neutral set was ideal and a perfect fit for their outfits.
In my studio I have a wide range of accessories, furniture, and props (e.g. Easter eggs). This lets me customize each set for the look each client would like. For their sibling photos, I had my boho chair ready that I really like to use on the neutral backdrop. Sometimes babies can be hesitant when mom or dad are not holding them for photos. For some reason babies and toddlers always do want to sit in chairs or on stools though. I will always have one ready for them!
At their Spring boho and Easter photography session
I was excited to see this family on the morning of their session. We’ve had a couple of sessions together this year and it’s always a pleasure. Baby E had already grown so much since their holiday session and big brother was excited to have another session of fun and games.
Little ones can be a bit shy at the beginning of the session so we started their session with family photos. It didn’t take these kiddos too long to warm up to me and my camera though. They were full of fun and smiles.
Sure enough, Baby E was more than happy to sit with her amazing big brother for a photo together on my boho chair. He was such a great helper!
After we finished up their photos on the neutral set and in my Spring boho chair we moved over to my Spring toddler and baby set. I use this fun set for Easter and Spring themed photos of babies and toddlers (and even big kids sometimes!). Both of the kiddos were keen to sit for photos on the Spring themed set, the props make it especially fun for children.
The baby and toddler Easter and Spring photography set was a wonderful opportunity for close ups of Baby E. At 9 months of age she is changing so quickly so I zoomed in to capture all of her adorable details and expressions.
