Ottawa Doula Branding Session

At this Ottawa doula branding session I created a collection of images for this wonderful local doula and photographer. The photos will be used on her website, social media, and wherever else she needs them.

We met up at the studio for a ‘Nice to meet You’ Branding Photography Session. This session is perfect for if you need casual headshot photos as well as stock photography of props (or products). The images are intended to be used to create a cohesive collection that introduces you and your personality and communicates your brand and values. The session is 30 minutes long and includes photos in two outfits held on the set of your choice.

Planning for an Ottawa Doula Branding Session

Every branding session is as unique as my clients and their businesses are. Early on in the planning stages we send out a questionnaire to find out more information. Above all, I want to know more about my client’s business, their goals for their business, and how they’re going to use their photos. Upon chatting and researching more about their businesses we’re able to make a plan together to create just the right look and feel for their collection of images.

I was excited to work with this local doula and photographer. She’s a lovely person and creative with an appreciation for the aesthetic. Because of this, I knew we were going to have a wonderful time in the studio at her branding session.

Before our session together we had discussed what outfits, backdrops, poses, and props we were going to include. This meant the studio was all set and ready for her before she arrived for her Ottawa doula branding session.

We wanted to create a collection of images that was unique to her services and personality. This meant that we included warm and earthy headshots alongside modern, crisp photos of her at work and with her works’ tools.

With the wide variety of backdrops, poses and props we were able to include in her session she now has everything she needs. I’m looking forward to seeing her photos in action!
