When the the trees blossom in Ottawa it’s only for a fleeting few weeks in May and it’s one of my favourite times of the year. We had a cold Spring this year that resulted in some of the trees flowering later than expected so I was especially grateful that I was able to photograph several sessions in among the blossoms before they disappeared until next year. Two years ago I photographed this family in the blossoms when Ms. R was only six months old and it was so lovely to spend time with them in among the beautiful flowers with their brand new baby girl who was only 3 weeks old on the day of our session.
