It’s not too late to book your outdoor family session before the year wraps up! I have two beautiful options available for families who want updated photos before the end of 2025.
EVERGREEN SESSIONS
Perfect for families who:
- want a simple and timeless backdrop for their session.
- want a location for their session that isn’t season specific but can be used for holiday cards.
- are available on December 6, 2025 (afternoon) for a session (inclement weather date December 7, 2025).
NEUTRAL SESSIONS
Perfect for families who:
- love a beautiful neutral backdrop with muted tones for their photos.
- want a session location that isn’t season specific with beautiful textures and earthy colour tones.
- are available on November 29, 2025 (in the afternoon) for a session (inclement weather date November 30, 2025).
How do I book my session?

Will my edited photos and/or prints be ready before the holidays?
You will be provided with a viewing gallery within 48 hours of your session. The gallery will be available for 3 days and once your selections have been made you will receive the final digital images, via digital download, in 3-5 business days.
Due to the increased volume of print orders and mail during the lead up to the holidays, I cannot guarantee that you will receive your print products before the holidays.
What are the session options?
10 minute Moment Session ($299+HST) includes 3 edited and retouched digital images of your choice in colour and 2 gift prints.
What types of photos do you take during our session?
Posed, candid, both…it’s up to you! My clients fill out a detailed questionnaire before our time together so I know what photos and poses are most important to you and your family.
Where will the sessions take place?
I choose all session locations based on accessibility, safety, and available light and backdrops. This year, Evergreen Sessions will take place in the east end of Ottawa (in Orleans or Blackburn Hamlet). Clients are provided with the specific meeting place the day before the session.
Can grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles come to the session?
Sessions are for immediate family members only (parents and their children). At this time I do not offer sessions for extended family members.
Can our dog(s) come to the session?
Yes, absolutely.
Do I have to pay for my session fee in full?
No. A session deposit is required to secure your session. The balance for your session is paid the week your session is scheduled to take place.
What happens if it’s raining on the day of our session?
I make the decision to postpone sessions based on satellite images and whether it will be actively raining or heavily snowing at the time of our session. This decision is made 1.5-2 hours before the session. Sessions are not rescheduled due to cold temperatures, wind, wet ground, overcast sky, etc.
If sessions are postponed due to rain (or heavy snow) your session will take place at the same time it was originally scheduled but the inclement weather date.
