A secret about sessions | I’m going to let you in on a little secret.
Not everyone comes to their maternity session feeling like a million bucks. Some people are in pain, some people are stressed because of medical complications. Some people are struggling with their self image and changing bodies. Others are worried what life will be like when the baby comes.
When you look at the photos of my clients, I want you to know, they are struggling with the same things you are. My job is to take photos BUT part of that process means connecting with my clients. Sometimes that means we laugh hysterically together, sometimes we have really serious and intense conversations, sometimes we cry. Sometimes we end up chatting so much we lose track of time and then have to scurry off to our next commitments.
There is another secret about my sessions that you might not be aware of. Our entire team cares deeply about our clients. We end up taking the photos we do because of the connection we have with the people we photograph and the stories we share with one another.
