Easter and Spring themed arts and crafts
With the weather not looking very Spring-like quite yet, arts and crafts are an ideal way to enjoy time while waiting for warmer and drier days. Every year I plan about three different Spring themed crafts for my kids to make and buy any supplies I need ahead of time. This way I am able to pull out the craft supplies whenever the weather is particularly messy or if the kids are getting bored.
Spring and Easter brings with it lots of fun themed crafts that include bunnies, flowers, chicks and more! Family fun in Ottawa on the April long weekend
Many of Ottawa’s museums, farms, and other locations are offering special activities over the Easter long weekend. To keep ourselves busy we usually pick at least one outdoor event and one indoor event. Over the years we’ve hunted for eggs, petted baby chicks, and snuggled lots of baby bunnies.

Capturing the memories of your long weekend together
Celebrating Easter with your family brings lots of opportunities for capturing memories together and for adorable photos of your children. The long weekend is one of my family’s favourite times of year and many pages of our photo books are devoted to Easter activities.
