“How do you choose what photos to take at our session?”

Every single session is different because every single client is different! We have an extensive questionnaire that clients fill out, that allows me to plan a session workflow to ensure we take all the photos that are most important to you.

-We share almost all of my full sessions on my Ottawa newborn photographer blog AND Facebook page so you can see the variety that is possible for the different types of sessions

-I have a full time session coordinator who helps you choose the photos that are most meaningful and important to you

-I have different session lengths to give clients different options when it comes to choosing the variety and number of images they want from their session.

At our session who will choose the photos we take?

Because every client’s preferences and desires for their session is different we start off the planning from scratch. Right from the beginning we want to know what types of photos are important to you. Or, if you have a particular look in mind for your photos. Collaboration is key when styling a session so we want our clients to be involved from the beginning.

Once my session coordinator has helped you choose the best session length for the photos you’d like we send you session specific information to look over. This helps you know just what photos, props, and backdrops are possible for you to choose from.

The next step that gets us to choosing what photos to take is really fun! We have an extensive (but easy to fill out!) questionnaire for every family before their session. Questions about style, poses, backdrops, accessories and more are all in the questionnaire. Clients love being able to collaborate in this way! And I’m then able to ensure all of your most important photos are included in my session workflow.

Not sure exactly what you want for your photos? Not a problem at all! We use the questionnaire as a jumping off point in our planning and are happy to bounce ideas back and forth as we choose what photos we will take at your session.
