This lovely family’s newborn session included two sweet sisters under two and they couldn’t have been any cuter together. With their oldest not very old we kept our expectations for how many photos she would participate in realistic. But big sister was a super star at their newborn session. The photos of the two sweet sisters under two together were perfect!
For their Memories Newborn Session, we started with their family photos in front of my neutral backdrop. The outfits they had selected looked wonderful against this light and fresh set. While mom snuggled up with baby I played with Miss C from behind my camera. She thought I was pretty funny and was quickly feeling pretty comfortable in front of the camera.
Once mom and dad had both had a turn posing for photos it was time for the two sweet sisters under two’s photos. For their photos together Miss C sat down on my matching neutral fluffy rug next to her baby sister. Miss C is a toddler and so she always has places to be. But with her sister posed in a sweet little bed prop next to her she was more than happy to sit and pose for a few minutes. Miss C was very gentle and calm with her baby sister. The photos of the two girls together turned out beautifully, I’m thrilled for these two to have each other in their lives. These two girls are going to have so much fun growing up together!
After the two sweet sisters under two’s photos together
Once the big sister half to the two sweet sisters under two pair was finished her photos we turned the focus of the session to the family’s newest addition. For baby’s individual photos I had pulled some of my favourite newborn sized props. Mom and dad had already selected their favourite fabric and accessory colours. I combined the props with layers of fabrics to create beautiful backdrops for baby’s first photos.
She looked absolutely adorable all curled up in my props with layers of pinks, purples, greys, and turquoises surrounding her. Before finishing up her session, I photographed her in just the right position for the digital backdrops her parents had selected for their baby’s Custom Newborn Art. I love the digital backdrops they chose and am thrilled with how her special photos turned out.
