Their Summer maternity session at the Arboretum was absolutely beautiful. The session was perfect for capturing them about to become a family of four. They are so excited to meet their newborn! I am thrilled for them to be welcoming baby to their family soon.

This lovely couple’s first maternity session for their little boy was held in studio. You can see photos from the session here. Both studio and outdoor maternity sessions create a beautiful gallery of images and have their own advantages. I think one of each session type is a wonderful way to have the best of both worlds. With baby #2 being due in September an outdoor maternity session this Summer was a great choice for them. Being at the Arboretum for their Summer maternity session also gave big brother lots of space to run around and play. At two years of age big brother is all about running, playing and having fun. I can’t wait to see his baby sibling with him soon, they are going to have such a fun time growing up together.

Meeting at the Arboretum for their Summer maternity session

We met at the Arboretum on a warm afternoon this Summer for their maternity session. Mom arrived in a beautiful yellow sundress that we just had to include photos in for their session. The deep yellow she had on is my favourite colour and looked amazing on her and with her family’s outfits.

After photographing her with her family in her own sundress we pulled out my changeroom and one of my beautiful cream gowns. The soft cream colour and flowy fabric was ideal for a summertime session amongst the magnificent trees in the Arboretum. The gown looked gorgeous on the beautiful mom to be and appeared as if it was made for her.

I’m so excited for this family to be welcoming their baby soon and absolutely cannot wait to meet baby at their newborn session!
