This candid newborn photo session was so much fun. I have been photographing this incredible family for five years. I was thrilled to hear they were welcoming a new baby and couldn’t wait to photograph her.
For their session, mom and dad selected a Memories Newborn Session. This session was perfect for capturing the family with Baby B and for beautiful photos of her on her own.
We made sure to include a posed photo of the family of five at their candid newborn photo session. But we then put a focus on candid family photos. Candid family photos are all about capturing interactions and the relationships between family members. They’re a beautiful way to remember these special early days when baby is so new. I especially love the sweet photos of mom and dad holding their baby girl and looking down at her. They are so much in love with their baby girl!
After we photographed the whole family together it was time for big sister and brother to enjoy some time with their baby sister in front of the camera. The children were so excited to be in the studio for their candid newborn photo session. They were also very proud to show off their new baby sister and tell me all about life with a newborn.
Big sister had clearly been spending lots of time holding her sister already. She was a pro and more than happy to hold her for their sibling photos and for a sweet photo of the two girls together. Once big brother had a turn cuddling up next to his baby sister it was time for photos of Miss B all by herself. She very sweetly gave the camera both a bright eyed look as well as a classic, sleepy pose. She is absolutely perfect, congratulations to this very lovely family!
