Ottawa Baby Milestone Photography

Ottawa baby milestone photography sessions are offered all year long in the studio and outdoors when the weather is warm. Some families choose to book a session every now and then to capture all of the growth baby is making. Other families book a package of sessions. Packages are perfect for ensuring all of baby’s major milestones and development is captured in photos. That first year goes by quickly so it’s nice to have sessions preplanned out before baby is even born.

Last time I saw this adorable baby’s first year client was when she was four months old. Our last Ottawa baby milestone photography session was outdoors on a warm and sunny day at the end of October. We knew that we wouldn’t be so lucky with Mother Nature in February so were happy to be in my warm studio.

For her February Ottawa baby milestone photography session Miss C was 8 months old. Eight months is such a wonderful age to photograph, these sessions are always so much fun. At 8 months old the photographs do vary a lot because babies at this age are all at different stages in development. But the best part of these sessions is learning just who baby is at this stage and capturing it for their parents.

Miss C at 8 months was an absolute joy. She was sitting up on her own and was full of smiles for her parents. She was also very curious about all of the different things in my studio. I could see her taking it all in as I photographed her with her family.

She seems to already really look up to her big sister and looked to her for reassurance when sitting together. I’m excited to see their relationship develop over this first year, I think they’re going to be wonderful playmates.

After their updated family and sibling photos it was time to turn all of the focus to Baby C. A milestone session is the perfect opportunity to include favourite toys or books as props. Interests change so quickly so I love when parents bring along the current favourites to their baby milestone photography sessions. The head tilt Miss C gave me as she held her stuffie was too cute, she is a sparkling personality and absolutely adorable. I can’t believe the next time I see her she will be turning one!
