This incredible Ottawa business woman was due for updated headshots and branding photos. I couldn’t wait to help bring her vision for her photos alive. She has a fun and colourful personality for instance, that we wanted to convey across all of her photos. In the lead up to her branding photography session we planned for her different outfits, accessories, and props to help meet that goal.
With her fun personality we pulled out some of my favourite bright backdrops for her headshots. You can absolutely have both fun and professional headshots, she pulled the look off beautifully!
As a part of her fun Ottawa branding photography session we wanted to include a variety of different food props and some of her favourite items. She can use the photos of the props as well as the photos of herself with her props on her website, email, and social media accounts. Some of my favourite images from our session together include the candid shots of her with the food items she selected to use. The photos with the food items will be used a lot in her particular business and they cohesively represent her brand.
Photographing a branding session
When I photograph clients’ branding sessions I frame the images in a way that makes them as flexible as possible. I want the finished images to be useable across as many platforms as possible, so you’re ready for wherever your business takes you. It’s wonderful to have just the right photo available and use it in your boutique, Instagram, or Facebook page.
My branding sessions are kept light and fun. We had a great morning in the studio with this wonderful business woman. In the studio we put our creative minds and tools to work but had lots of laughs in the process. We work hard during the session to create a large gallery of images but the whole experience is enjoyable.
Her gallery of photos is incredible and speaks perfectly to her brand and personality. I can’t wait to see how she uses all of her new photos from her fun Ottawa branding photography session!
