Outdoor Ottawa Headshot Sessions are an excellent option year round. Headshot photos are our first impression more than ever before in our increasingly digital world.

Headshot photos should be updated every several years. They should also be updated when you take on a new project or look for a new career. If you don’t have a photo that you love for social media booking a headshot session is also great idea.

I style my clients’ headshot sessions with their own individual goals in mind. The specific look they have in mind for their photos is really important to me. I offer headshot sessions in my Ottawa studio but also outdoors throughout the year. The look and feel of outdoor headshots is much different than studio photos so I’m happy to offer both.

Winter Outdoor Ottawa Headshots

An outdoor location was ideal for my client this February. Our goals for the session were to capture just who she is and the relaxed and natural background was perfect for her personality. When she mentioned that she had an Australian outback hat she’d like to use as a part of her session I was really excited. Incorporating meaningful or fun props and accessories is a great way to add variety to a headshot session. Her Australian hat may not be from a wintery climate but it looked brilliant paired with a snowy backdrop.

I very rarely have a headshot client that loves to be on camera or who tells me that they’re a great poser or are photogenic. That’s totally fine as I am more than happy to take the lead and help them bring their best foot forward.

We are thrilled with the headshots we created for this incredible women. Her photos really convey her strength, beauty, adventurousness, and confidence. I can’t wait to see where she uses her new headshots!
