Before their session we planned which rooms we would photograph them in and the activities they wanted to include. Their home is very bright with large windows so we had many rooms we could use for their session.

I started their session on the main level of their home. The hub of activity for most families is centred around their main floor. While the boys enjoyed reading time with their parents I quietly photographed them from the end of the room. I’d like to think that I was so quiet for a moment that they even forgot I was there.
I have enjoyed photographing this family since their boys were babies so I know them all quite well. This was our first in home session so it was nice for the boys to be the ones to show me around. They loved showing me their favourite books and the toys they enjoy most while at home. It was a joy to photograph their family’s beautiful memories in their own house.
