Our First Orleans Studio Maternity Session: During the first Pandemic lockdown I offered virtual sessions to help expectant and new families capture their special, time sensitive memories through video call and by coaching parents to take their own photos. This beautiful second time mama-to-be had her first maternity session virtually with me so I was excited to be able to meet her and her family in person this time and to be able to take her maternity photos myself.
With the temperatures outdoors rather chilly, we held their in-person session in my warm and cozy studio. We started off their maternity session with photos of the growing family all together. A family maternity session is a chance to celebrate all of the excitement about a new family member and also to capture this special moment in time with beautiful photographs that will be forever treasured. The pace of family life seems to pick up with every child born, it’s wonderful having photos to look back on to remind you of all the excitement and changes in these early years of your family.
After we had fun capturing photos of the family together mom changed into a maternity gown from my studio collection. The white gown she chose was stunning on her and was perfect for showing off her beautiful baby bump. I’m so excited for them to be welcoming their baby soon and grateful I was able to help them capture their special memories in person!
