This was such a fun mommy and me session! I first photographed Miss G as a newborn and have gotten to see her quite often over her first 5 years but I still caught myself being in awe of just how grown up she looks already.
Family sessions are important too but I love when my clients book a session with their individual children. When all the focus is on them it’s truly their time to shine! This playful and cheerful little girl loved the camera and was a superstar at posing. While she was excellent at following my directions on where to stand and look for her photos I followed her lead for much of the session. Capturing a child’s personality and who they are at a point in their lives on camera is something I’m really passionate about and it’s always such a joy.
This was also the perfect opportunity to photograph mom and daughter together to help capture their relationship at this moment in time. The two of them look so much alike, Miss G is definitely her mother’s mini-me!
