Happy first birthday baby boy!
How has it been a year already since little Mr. I’s newborn session? Last Fall it was so warm that we were able to hold part of his newborn session outdoors with all of the beautiful Fall colours as a backdrop. I was so excited to meet up with this lovely family almost exactly one year later for another outdoor Fall session with the pretty leaves to celebrate their baby’s first birthday and capture updated family photos for them.
The first year of a baby’s life is a year like no other; Baby I has very quickly grown and changed from a sleepy newborn to a playful, curious toddler who is now on the move and ready for action.
After spending some time catching up while photographing the family together and giving big sister a turn to shine in front of the camera, mom and dad brought out balloons and a special birthday treat for the birthday boy. We were all curious to see what his reaction would be! The balloons were a huge hit with Mr. I, he couldn’t wait to get his hands on them to play with. He was a little more uncertain of his cupcake but when his big sister showed him how to hold it and taste it I think he started to realize just how delicious cake can be. Happy birthday little one!
