Baby R was such a dream to photograph, her newborn session was definitely a highlight of my day the afternoon she came to visit me in my studio.
Her parents are so in love with her, the photos of the three of them together that we started the session with are so filled with emotion and adoration that you can’t help but smile looking at them.
After their first family photos with their baby girl mom and dad were able to relax while I got to take my turn holding this sweet little girl. I started with her newborn photos on the posing cushion where she was more than happy for me to position her on the pretty different fabric colours and photograph her. All of the different poses I placed her in and angles I photographed her from helped me capture all of her adorable little features.
Next up for Baby R was being photographed in a selection of some of my favourite newborn sized props. I love how the props show off just how tiny and curled up she is. Babies grow so quickly so these special photos will always be a wonderful memento of just how small she once was.
