A maternity session is a beautiful way to celebrate a growing family and capture this special time as you wait for baby to arrive. Meeting up in the gardens only made this family’s maternity session even more special as the gorgeous flowers and bright sky was magical on the evening of their session.
In the Summer one of my favourite session locations is the Ornamental Garden. The flowers become vibrant and fill not only the backdrop of my photos with colour but they also fill the air with their beautiful floral smells.
These big-brothers-to-be also loved the location, we had a great time catching up and playing in the gardens during their session. Mom had found gorgeous dresses for her session, they looked stunning on her and worked perfectly amongst all of the brightly coloured flowers in the gardens that day. We made sure to capture their whole family’s excitement in family photos but also took some quiet moments to photograph just mom with dad. With two children already and one on the way soon, these quiet moments together are even more special to share. While I love the happy photos of mom with her boys and family, the solo maternity portraits of mom are amongst my favourites from their session. She looks gorgeous and I’m so excited for her to be welcoming her little one soon.
