Photographing this sweet and sleepy little one was an amazing way to reopen my studio after a three month long closure. I have missed photographing newborns so much!
I photographed this cutie’s big sister at her own newborn session two years ago. I was thrilled to be able to have little sister in my studio for photos too. The two sisters look a lot alike but baby C seems to have a bit darker hair so I’ll be curious to see how much they look alike as she grows.
Miss C was a darling at her session and nestled sweetly into my posing cushion. With a bit of soothing and gentle hands on her she was more than happy to sleep in different positions so that I could photograph her from a variety of angles and capture all of her tiny little details.
After photos on my posing cushion, I pulled out my furry rug for her to lay on. Once I moved her and she noticed what I was doing she wasn’t quite as eager to drift off back to sleep. Her bright eyes stared right back at me and my camera, at only 2 weeks old she is already so alert and aware!
