This Summer I’m offering SIX different session options for your family, maternity, and children’s photos: Summer in the Arboretum, Summer at the Beach, Summer at the Farm, Summer in the Garden, Summer with the Sunflowers, and Sunsets and Silhouettes.

How do I book my session?
Booking your session can all be done online in my boutique starting at 7:30 am on June 15th. Sign up to my VIP List and the booking links to all my sessions will be sent straight to your inbox.
Do I have to pay for my session in full?
Only a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session space.
Why are most of the sessions scheduled for late afternoon and evening on weekdays?
Outdoor locations for Summer sessions are busier on the weekends, making them less than ideal for sessions (e.g., distractions, people, and vehicles in the backgrounds).
The bright sunlight midday also limits the places we are able to take photos because the higher the sun is in the sky, the fewer places we are able to take photos (full sun = sweaty faces, squinting eyes, shiny skin).
Can grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles come to the session?
Summer Sessions are for immediate family members only (parents and their children). At this time I do not offer sessions for multiple families or large family gatherings.
What happens if it rains or if there is a heat advisory?
For every session date, there is a corresponding back-up date for your session. Clients must be available for both dates. On the day of your session we will contact you approximately 2-3 hours before your session to confirm whether your session can go ahead.
The back-up date for all sessions is the following day at the same time.
Due to the lack of airplane and cruise line traffic, weather forecasts have have become much more inaccurate than in the past. There is a chance that you may arrive for your session and have to come back on the back up date if the weather changes unexpectedly.
Why are there no locations listed for each type of session?
For Summer Sessions I will let clients know their exact session location with directions the day before their session so that they can plan their route. The general area is listed in the details for each of the session types to help you choose your Summer Session. I don’t select locations until as close as possible before our session for several reasons: to ensure there are no road closures the day of our session; to check for nearby construction that may limit parking or access to a location; and to ensure that the area I choose is beautiful and safe. What are the session options?
There are two session options*:
- 15 minute Memories Session ($299+HST)- for families with 3 people OR a session that is just for your children. Includes 5 edited and retouched digital images of your choice in colour and black & white as well as 3 gift prints.
- 20 minute More Memories Session ($345+HST)- for families with more than 3 family members. Includes 8 edited and retouched digital images of your choice in colour and black & white as well as 3 gift prints.
Summer in the Arboretum Sessions
July 10th & 26th and August 7th

Summer at the Beach Sessions
July 7th & 21st and August 4th, 16th, and 23rd

-families who love the idea of a playful and fun Summer Session (and who don’t want to worry about coordinating shoes with your clothes!)
