I was excited to scout for this lovely couple’s maternity session location. These first time parents spend a lot of their time in nature and love to hike and camp so it was important to them that their session incorporated the great outdoors. I also love to hike and explore new trails so in the lead up to their session I headed out on lots of walks looking for new forests and all of the different things that make an ideal session location. A snowy forest is one of my favourite backdrops for maternity sessions.
For her maternity session, this gorgeous mom-to-be wore a beautiful green gown that looked stunning on her and suited her nature inspired session perfectly. The shape of her dress showed off her beautiful baby bump so well and the colour worked in harmony with the greens of the snow covered evergreens.

The photos of them together enjoying time in nature are a beautiful memento of this very special time in their lives as they wait for their little one to arrive. By Spring this couple will have a brand new family member to share their love of the great outdoors with and I am thrilled for them to be welcoming their baby soon.
