I was so excited to have this bright-eyed little boy in the studio for his newborn session. Our session together had to be postponed by several weeks due to the lockdown so he was older at his session than we had first planned. Being a bit older at his newborn session meant he wasn’t quite as sleepy but that also meant we were treated to lots of wide-eyed looks and expressions from the little guy.
I always have such a wonderful time with this family at their sessions. Big brother is also a lot of fun with lots of energy that I love to see and photograph. Big brother is still a bit young himself but he did a wonderful job posing for photos with his little brother. These boys are going to have so much fun together soon!
For their little one’s newborn session, mom and dad selected lots of neutral colours as well as soft blues that will all look gorgeous displayed together in their home.
While keen to watch me as I photographed him, I also managed to convince this sweet little boy to rest for a bit on my posing cushion and in my props for adorable sleepy photos. He really liked the feeling of being all wrapped up so I photographed him in some of my favourite light coloured fabrics and props. I love how peaceful he looks all wrapped up and snoozing away.
