What could possibly be a more Canadian kind of picnic than this?
I love when my clients have creative ideas for their sessions and this wonderful family never disappoints.
For their Front Porch Session I met up with them at their home on a bright February morning. One of the best things about these fun sessions is that you don’t even have to get the family into the vehicle to drive to a session location. What I love about these sessions is that I get to see my clients at their own homes, the children love showing me where they live and I often even get a peek of their pets!
When I arrived at their house we started with taking updated family and sibling photos against the backdrop of their home. We’ve all spent so much time together with our families in our homes over the last year making these photos taken at home all the more special to have.
Once we’d taken some more traditional photos of the family, the kids were excited to start their family picnic they had planned for the morning. Hot chocolate and Timbits in the snow was such a fun idea! The children were thrilled and now I have another must-do Winter activity for my only family this year.
