For the first time in over 5 years I will be offering on location photos at your home!
Who are these sessions for?
- For families who would love to be photographed with their home as the backdrop.
- For families who want to commemorate the place they made so many memories together over the course of the past year.
- For families who would love an easy option for updated photos: you don’t have to worry about packing up everyone into your vehicle or travelling to a session location.
- For families who’d love to include their pet(s) in their family photos.
Where do sessions take place?
- Sessions take place outdoors at your own home in your front yard.
What types of photos will you be taking?
Sessions will be tailored to what you prefer: casual and candid or posed portraits (or a bit of both).
You can wear casual clothes, formal wear, costumes: the choice is entirely up to you! It will be important to wear layers to make sure everyone is warm (even though the session is only 10 minutes long).
You can decorate your porch or home or we can take photos of your home “as is”. The photos can be close up (your family on your front porch or front steps) and we can also take photos that include your entire home.
When do sessions take place?
Saturday, January 2nd (inclement weather date of Jan. 3rd)- Area 1: Orleans, North Gloucester, Pineview, Alta Vista, Navan, Billings Bridge, Hunt Club, Herongate
Saturday, January 16th (inclement weather date of Jan. 17th)- Area 2 Old Ottawa South, Glebe, Central Ottawa, Nepean, Centrepoint, Bayshore, Mooney’s Bay, Westboro, Vanier, Rockcliffe Park
Saturday, February 6th (inclement weather date of Feb. 7th)- Area 3 Barrhaven, Riverside South, Manotick, Findlay Creek
What session options are there?
Moment Sessions will be offered. These 10 minute sessions are perfect for Front Porch photos, as I can work quickly to take a variety of photos since we will be taking photos in the same place
Included in your session fee ($225+HST):
- Your 10 minute Moment Session
- 3 edited and retouched digital images of your choice in colour and black & white
- 2 gift prints
What will happen at our session?
When you book your session, you will choose a time slot for when the sun is not on the front of your house. We will provide you with an approximate time for your session.
I will text you about 20-30 minutes before I arrive. When I arrive I will adjust the settings on my camera and get ready for your session. I will text you when it’s time for everyone to come outside for photos.
I will remain at least 8-10 feet away from you and your family at all times.
