Miss N has been a delight to get to know over her first year and I couldn’t wait to celebrate her big day this September. As one of my Baby’s First Year clients I have been photographing her every 4 months since she was born, starting with her newborn session. It’s been an incredible year of memories!
With physical distancing in place, we moved her 8th month milestone session outdoors and she loved being outside so much for her session that her family was excited to celebrate her first birthday session once again in the great outdoors.
For Miss N’s special birthday session, we started off with family playtime to capture the three of them together enjoying time together and for updated family photos. With hands held by mom and dad she was excited to practice her walking skills in the grass. She will be off and on the go all by herself very soon!
At all of her sessions this past year, starting from her newborn session, we have included the same piece of yellow fabric. It’s become a tradition at her session and really fun to see how much she has changed since she’s been photographed with it last.
A birthday is always best celebrated with cake! At the end of her session, mom and dad brought out her very own cake to try. We were so curious to see what she would do with her cake as you never know just how a one year old will react. Miss N was keen to try her cake and the expressions we captured as she tried the delicious icing were priceless. Happy birthday little one!
