One of the trickiest things about outdoor sessions is finding locations! Not only do locations have to be safe (e.g., not near roads or busy paths) but they have to be easy to find and have accessible parking and access for families with strollers or any mobility challenges. Every child reacts differently to the outdoors, so I also like to find locations where there is different spots we can use for photos: long grass for the background, short grass to stand in, and sticks or flowers to play with.
This Spring I was so happy to find this little gem of a location in a nearby park. There was a beautiful breeze no matter what the temperature and we were always protected in the shade of the mature trees.
