Our long Winters in Ottawa make me especially grateful for my warm and toasty studio. It’s the perfect place to host sessions on a chilly day and for my Extraordinary You sessions for teens and youth.
These amazing siblings were amongst the last of my in-studio clients before I needed to temporarily close the studio in March. We had such a wonderful time during their session, I’m so glad we had a chance to meet and have a session together.

For these preteen and teen’s photos, mom chose to use my black backdrop. This backdrop is not only classic and looks great with all clothing colours, but it’s also something that youth tend to be thrilled to use for their photos.
These siblings started their session with portraits, both individually and together. It can be hard to convince older children to get close with their siblings for photos (especially when they’re your own kids!) but these kiddos were wonderful at their session and I love how their photos together turned out.
Both brother and sister are athletic and have favourite sports so they chose to help make their session even more special by incorporating their uniforms and sports. These photos in all of their sporting gear are something they will be able to display with pride. With all of the memories created during their time with their sports, I think these photos will be something they will treasure forever.
