This sweet pea was just back in the studio for her 4th month milestone session and I couldn’t believe how much she’d already changed since I’d seen her last. You can see her photos from her newborn session here. The time between the newborn stage and 4 months of age seems so short but in terms of how much development takes place it is incredible! Miss N. has changed from a sweet, sleepy newborn to a curious and bright little one who loves cuddling up and reading with mom and dad.
At 4 months of age I feel you can already really see a baby’s personality starting to emerge as well as hints of their interests. The way Miss N. focused on her book was quite impressive for her age, I won’t be surprised if she’s a big reader when she is older.

We focused on capturing her individual photos during Miss N’s newborn session so her 4th month session was a great opportunity to capture beautiful family photos of them together and also some really special photos of Miss N. with her mom and dad alone. The relationships between parents and babies also changes so quickly in that first year so it’s wonderful to have photos capturing interactions with parents.

During Miss N.’s newborn session I used one of my favourite deep yellow wraps for one of her photos so I brought it out again for her 4th month session. I love incorporating the same props or fabrics in babies’ sessions as they make for great ‘before and after’ shots.

I’m looking forward to seeing this family soon at Miss N.’s 8th month session!
