This family is always so much fun to have in front of my camera!

When children are older and get busier and busier it can be hard to find the time to book a photo session but I love that this family always makes the time to capture their very special memories. 

For this session, mom selected my black backdrop for their photos together and I love how it worked with their black outfits. Their faces and expressions, as well as their embraces, really pop against the black keeping the focus on them and their connection together.

I really enjoy photographing families with older children such as this one. Not only did I get to joke around with Ms. M in a way you can only get away with when you’re with teens but I also got to see from the other side of the camera how amazing the changing parent-child relationship is as your kiddos grow up. Their photos are so full of love.  

It can be bittersweet to watch your children grow up when you think about how tiny they once were but the memories you can create with your children truly never end. There is something wonderful about every stage of parenthood and I loved helping this family capture this wonderful stage in their family’s life.
