I look forward to Spring Studio Sessions every year because it means that Winter is almost over. As much as I love Winter Maternity Sessions and Winter Family Sessions, I am always excited for warm sunshine and the start of Outdoor Spring and Summer Sessions. Because who doesn’t love flowers, sunsets, and sand in their toes?!

This year my Spring Studio Sessions were scheduled for early March and I’m so glad I got to see so many adorable little ones before our city shut down to protect the health of our most vulnerable citizens.

This year I wanted to incorporate Spring flowers into both sets. The brand new Meadow set was the perfect neutral backdrop with cooler tones and no props, for families who wanted a a simpler Spring theme. On the Spring Garden set I was able to incorporate several of my favourite props: flowers, tin buckets, gold accents, and Easter eggs. The eggs were big hit with the sitter set (around 8 months) and toddlers (over a year old). They love tapping them together and having them dumped all over their legs and laps.
