I was thrilled to hear this lovely family was expecting their fourth baby. I first met them at their twins’ newborn session 4 years ago and have enjoyed photographing them ever since.
As the fourth child little Mr. P is surrounded by lots of activity and lots of love and I think we captured that really well during their family and sibling photos. We shared lots of laughs as we took their first photos together as a family of 6. Mr. P’s big brothers and big sister were all too happy to hold and snuggle their brand new baby brother during their session. Their newest member of the family already fits in so well and I’m thrilled for all of them.
I styled their session to include a variety of different poses and combinations of family members as family photos are really important to Mom and Dad. Everyone had a turn holding their baby and I was excited for how keen the children were to pose for my camera.
Mr. P was a really snuggly and cuddly little one to photograph. He already has the most amazing cheeks and even the hint of a dimple as he smiles in his sleep. I photographed him on the posing cushion and in a couple of my natural wooden props with neutral fabrics for his individual photos. I love how all of his photos turned out but the one with Mr. P’s hand up over his face is one of my favourites. He looks so sweet and must have been really enjoying his sleep.
