The Fall in Ottawa is one of the most popular times of year for family photographs and with all of the beautiful Fall colours in the trees that we had this year it’s easy to see why. The Fall is my favourite season so I was thrilled to have so many wonderful families visit me for their family photos this September and October. The crisp air, cozy sweaters, and the colourful leafy backdrop always puts a smile on my face so sharing in the excitement for Fall with so many lovely families was a treat.
We’re lucky to live in Ottawa where there are so many beautiful Fall colours around us but we often find the colours way up high or in places that aren’t very family friendly so I made it my mission this year to find the most beautiful backdrops in the most ideal locations possible where families could really enjoy their session. I always find location scouting for Fall Sessions is a great way to get out and explore Ottawa as Mother Nature is always keeping me on my toes. What is a beautiful and colourful location one day can be bare of leaves the next so I found myself exploring more trails than ever before. All of the exploring was definitely worth it though because we had gorgeous Fall backdrops for sessions this year.
The Fall is a wonderful time of year to get outside and have fun with the people you love. Families had so much fun during sessions playing in the leaves and cuddling up with their family in front of all of the colourful trees. Thank you to all of the lovely families that came out to play and pose amongst the beautiful Fall leaves with me, I had so much fun!
