A birthday photo session is definitely not just for one year olds!
Miss J’s birthday session is something I really look forward to every year, it’s becoming a beautiful tradition that is a joy to be a part of.
Her mom is so creative and I love the idea she came up for Miss J’s 3rd birthday session this year: Young, Wild, and Three!
We started off their session with updated family photos. Having your family photos retaken every year around the same time is an excellent way to see how much your children change and grow over just one year.
Miss J’s dad is a police officer and every year since she was born we have been photographing her with her dad in his uniform. This series of photographs has been a great way to see how much Miss J has grown from year to year but it’s also been a really special way to capture Miss J and her dad’s relationship. Those little hands wrapped around her dad are the sweetest!
We had lots of fun being wild, free, and three amongst mom’s beautifully created props during Miss J’s birthday photos. Her excitement and personality really shone and I love how everything turned out. Happy Birthday cutie!
