So often it’s mom who is behind the camera, ever dedicated to recording all of the important moments of the family’s life and the relationships between everyone. I am also the one in our family who takes almost all of our family’s photos (perhaps not surprisingly because of what I do for a living!) so I am well aware of the gap in most people’s photo albums.
Knowing it’s often the moms that are left out of the photos I was thrilled to have so many incredible mothers and grandmothers and great-grandmothers in my studio for Mother’s Day Sessions this year. The studio was filled with feelings of love towards mom and grandma that day making it a truly heartwarming experience.
I am so glad to have been a part of capturing these beautiful mothers’ memories and love that they took the time to get into the photo with their family. Happy Mother’s Day!
