I first met this lovely family at their daughter’s newborn session just over two years ago and when I heard they were expecting again I couldn’t wait to have them back in for photos of their little guy! It is always amazing when a newborn client comes back with their new baby brother or sister and I love to help these families continue capturing their important memories. Big sister was very proud to introduce me to her new little brother, Mr. M. They were so sweet together!

Newborn Sessions for second babies are quite a bit different in some ways than sessions for first babies. Most of my older siblings at a newborn session are toddlers which means that sessions are lively and fun. Since the last time I had photographed Miss M was at her own newborn session we had a great time reconnecting and playing together while taking her photographs with her new baby brother.

After the fun and games played during their family photos it was time for some quiet moments with just mom and dad and their new little one. When you have a toddler at home life is fun but it’s also busy and active so these special quiet times together are something to treasure.

Little M loved snuggling up for his photos with mom and dad and then I settled him into some of my favourite natural wooden props for some close ups to capture all of his sweet little features. Babies change so quickly so I’m glad we were able capture his adorable tucked lower lip and those long eyelashes of his that were still uncurling.
