I love the pretty, muted Fall colours in the backdrop of this gorgeous mama’s maternity photos!
We had no idea that crisp, beautiful Fall day was about to be our last view of the ground for many months, soon after our session the snow started to fall and it hasn’t let up since!
The woods of the late Fall were not only a beautiful backdrop for this lovely family’s maternity session but they were also the perfect place for the soon to be big brother to run and play in between photos. His energy and giggles were contagious and made capturing the candid moments lively and fun for everyone.
For many expectant mamas we start off their session in clothing from their own wardrobe and then switch to gowns or fabrics from my studio maternity collection. This allows for a really nice mix of more casual photos alongside ones that are more dramatic or formal. I love the softness of the neutral grey gown this mama chose for her photos, it suited capturing her in a serene, peaceful moment perfectly!
For a more dramatic shot mom chose to wear my deep, purple gown. The long train on this gown coupled with the rich colour helped create a stunning photograph of this beautiful mama-to-be!
