“For me this year represented 1 year since the birth of my third (and last) child. I also feel a heck of a lot better this year than last year when she was a newborn so in this sense I feel more myself for the pictures. I realise that we will not do family pictures every year so the first year is rather symbolic for me and for Ofelia’s siblings. I am also not sure if we will make it home every summer so I really wanted to give another print or two to my 91 year old grandmother. It is also just very important for me to have pictures of all three children as I never took professional/formal pictures with my first two. I really enjoyed the fact that it was quite fast, and that you really go with the flow with the children. No one feels frustrated or bored, and we are a family that enjoys spending time outside hiking and camping so having the session was also especially symbolic for us.”
