I love when mom and dad’s tell me about their session from their own perspective:
1. Why was this session important to you?
Sam: It captured the beauty of my wife’s physical changes during her first pregnancy.
Christine: It has been very interesting and exciting to experience all the changes in my body while being pregnant. This session was important to me, because I wanted to be able to remember this pregnancy and capture these changes in a beautiful way. We don’t take very many photos of ourselves and I wanted to be able to look back and see our excitement in anticipation of the arrival of our first baby.
2. What did you love most about your session?
Sam: It felt natural and comfortable from start to finish.
Christine: Sara and Brenda were so great to work with! With this being my first pregnancy, time kind of snuck up on me and before I knew it I was getting to the end of my pregnancy and hadn’t yet looked into getting maternity photos taken. When I looked through Sara’s maternity gallery, I fell in love with so many of the photos and knew I wanted a maternity session with her. I was very fortunate that Brenda was able to squeeze me into Sara’s schedule, including the milk bath session. Their expertise and guidance into planning the session was great. I felt so comfortable with Sara and her studio. I thought it might be a bit awkward to be so bare in front of the camera, but I instantly felt comfortable with Sara. She made me feel beautiful, gave excellent direction for poses, and was a pleasure to spend time with.
3. What is your favourite photo and why do you love it so much?
Sam: Favourite Photo:
It’s a great shot of my wife’s baby belly surrounded by beautiful flowers.
Christine: My favourite photo is this one.
When I looked through the gallery, I didn’t even remember that photo having been taken! It is just of me in my bra and underwear, but it seems so natural and pure, and captures the roundness of my baby belly so well.
