“This was our fourth session with Sara in the past year. We truly enjoy watching Sara throughout the creative process. She is a consummate professional and ensures that every detail is perfectly taken care of. She always makes every member of our family comfortable and this ensures the best possible photos. The milk bath photos are a perfect illustration of Julianna’s comfort with Sara as she played and splashed in the bath just as she does at home. We also loved the milk bath portion of the session because it provided a creative and beautiful alternative to the traditional cake smash. This option best suited our tastes and personalities and it also allowed us to incorporate a personal touch. Many of the flowers used in this portion of the session came from meaningful
places such as, our family cottage and from the home in which I (Julianna’s mother) grew up in. Watching these photos transpire was what we loved most about this session.

The first photograph includes, a quilt given to Julianna from the hospital. This quilt once covered her
incubator. It also included one of her preemie outfits and preemie diapers. They were once too big for her! We have memories of folding over the diaper to ensure a better fit. When we left the hospital one year ago, Julianna was barely 4 pounds and now she is a healthy 1 year old. This photo is a great representation of the preemie baby experience. We also love this photo. Sara perfectly captures the beautiful detail in Julianna’s face. It is truly stunning and peaceful.”
