“I don’t particularly like having my photo taken, however I really wanted to be able to capture this time when Imogen is still small and before the new little one comes. I was open to whatever the session brought, but was important for me to be able to capture this moment in time. During the session we were able to capture the fact that Imogen is still nursing. There is some stigma around nursing past a year, but more so when nursing while pregnant. Nursing during pregnancy doesn’t harm the baby, and can help build the bond if the nursling continues to nurse past delivery. Imogen is happy to continue nursing at this point, and is especially important for me, as I wasn’t sure that we were going to get past 1 month of nursing, let alone past a year and into a pregnancy.”
