“We have had newborn photos done of all of our children, but this one for the birth of our third child was extra special for us. Not just because she is our last baby, or because she is our first girl after two boys, but because of the circumstances surrounding our middle child’s birth. Our son was born with several complex congenital heart defects, and spent the first few months of his life in the NICU and back and forth between home and the hospital. Although we will are so grateful to live so close to an amazing children’s hospital, I feel like we missed out on so many special moments of having a new baby and going from a family of three to a family of four. This time, we have been so lucky to have a perfectly healthy baby, and these photos are a wonderful way to celebrate her birth and the fact that our family is complete.”
