Newborn sessions are all about capturing photos of your brand new baby when they are still ‘fresh’ but in reality when there is an older sibling, the session is often more about the siblings and helping them to feel confident and at ease. Since babies are usually sleeping the focus can be on whatever it takes to help big brothers and sisters to feel excited about participating in the session and I always love to see the end result: cuddles, big smiles, and the pride in their faces that they are there to take care of their sibling.
“What we loved most about the session was how well Sara worked with Isla. Sara was so calm and friendly which really put Isla at ease. Once she brought out the paw patrol pups and asked about Isla’s yoga moves, they were buddies. Isla also felt so proud of being Sara’s helper. Due to the great rapport she so quickly developed with Isla, Sara was able to capture some of Isla’s true smiles and some of the best photos we have of her. We’ll be back for more!”
