We had so much fun playing at the beach together! It never ceases to amaze me how different babies look when you compare photos from their newborn session and their first birthday. Unlike his newborn session, where he slept happily for nearly two hours, at his first birthday cake smash Mr. J was on the move. He was fascinated by the water and had so much fun splashing his feet in the water and eventually sitting and soaking himself (and us). I love the colours his mom chose for his session: the turquoise ‘popped’ against the tans and creams of the beach towel underneath his cake and made for the perfect summer themed first birthday celebration.
