Sweet baby C came into the world 8 weeks early and after a short stay in the NICU came home to his family on Christmas day. He was only four weeks old when he came into the studio and I am so grateful I was able to capture just how small he is for his parents; they will never forget his momentous arrival.

When he came into the studio, he was just under six pounds and we really focused on not only creating beautiful memories, but also showing just how tiny he really is.

Mom and dad loved bright colours which gave me the flexibility in choosing different fabrics and props that really ‘popped’ against the grey backdrop. C loved how warm my studio was and quite happily slept for his entire session although, he did sneak in a few glances at me when he first arrived. My favourite photos are of him in his parents arms; I love that they look like they’re in their own little world, just the three of them.  You can see just how much love radiates from their faces for their brand new baby boy.
