I had such a great time getting to know this mom and dad to be when they came into the studio for their maternity session. There was a lot of laughter as we switched between the backdrops (so many to choose from!) and sets and I can’t wait to see them again in February when their little one arrives (that will be so soon!). Like most of my clients they don’t know if they’re having a boy or girl…I always love the surprise when I get the call that a baby has arrived! It’s fascinating that I’m finding so many parents who are opting not to find out the gender. It appears the element of surprise is becoming popular!
I love the necklace this mom-to-be chose to wear to her maternity session. Bold jewellery pieces or scarves are a great way to add a bit of drama to your regular maternity clothes but also transform a casual top to something more dressed-up and sophisticated. Because I recommend to wear solid colours that pop in pictures, these statement pieces can add that extra something in each shot.
