I’ve been eagerly anticipating this gorgeous mama’s maternity session for some time now so I was thrilled we were able to meet up a bit earlier than expected to get ahead of Mother Nature’s stormy plans that week. The end of Summer brought us a lot of rain but that meant we also had beautiful clouds to work with at their maternity session. I love how the clouds in the backdrop of their photos paint the sky with soft colours that mirror the calmness of the water.

When I first heard this lovely family was expecting a baby this Fall I was overjoyed for them, it was the most amazing news I had heard in some time. I can’t wait for them to be holding their baby in their arms very soon!

We planned their session to include photos as a family together to help capture all of their excitement for their upcoming arrival and for their last photos as a family of four. The next time I see these boys they will have both graduated to big brother status.

Mom found a beautiful dress to wear for her session that worked perfectly for portraits on the beach with her family. She also chose to wear a gown from my maternity collection during her session. The light grey and flowing fabric of the gown she chose looked gorgeous on her and helped create the most beautiful and serene maternity portraits of her. I was so excited to help them capture their special memories and can’t wait to meet their little one very soon!
