One of my favourite places to photograph sessions is in the sunflower fields at a private farm in the west end of Ottawa. Not only does the owner plant an incredible variety of flowers but the barns on her property make a beautiful backdrop for photo sessions.
Kids love exploring between the high rows of flowers and are also entranced by the resident goose, who loves to greet all the visitors. There aren’t many places in Ottawa where you can see sunflowers, which is what makes a visit to Keys Sunfields so magical.
There are sunflowers for sale at the end of the driveway, which is a great opportunity for clients and passers by to take a little bit of “Summer Sun” home with them.
This was my second year photographing sessions at the sunflower fields and I can’t wait to be back in 2021!
