I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these sweet sisters several times so I was thrilled to be meeting their brand new baby brother at his newborn session. The girls were excited to be in the studio that morning, we had so much fun playing during their session. Newborn sessions with older siblings, especially when they’re toddlers, is as much playtime as it is photo time as it’s important everyone has a great time at the session.

For little Mr. O’s first photos his mama selected a beautiful, soft colour palette. I love the Springtime feel of their clothing and the fabric colours throughout the session. Everything ties in beautifully together and the photos will make gorgeous wall art for this family of five’s home.

After their first photos as a family of five and those oh so adorable sibling photos of the three children together we turned our attention to capturing Mr. O on his own. For his portraits I nestled him onto the posing cushion where he liked being on his side which was perfect for showing off his adorable little features. It’s always neat to see how unique every baby is at their newborn session and how they each have their preferences for how they’re held or positioned. Mr O loved the feeling of being swaddled in my fabrics and drifted off to sleep quickly after being wrapped. But not before giving me a stare with his beautiful, bright eyes which I was more than happy to capture on camera. Welcome to the world little one!
